ITEM #DOC - 18 CORRESPONDENCE FROM PILOT SCHOOL TO LUFTWAFFE COMMAND IN BERLIN The military pilot school in Sorau sent this registered letter to the Luftwaffe command in Berlin (Wehrbezirkskommando Berlin VI Abt. Luftwaffe) in com-pliance with the Luftwaffe Dv. 21 Anl. 1 § 27. This part of the LW orders regu-lated that the pilot license had to be sent to the LW command to be filed in the pilots Personalakte (personnel records). Pilot license #3024/III was sent, together with this document, on January 28, 1939. It would be interesting to find out what kind of airplanes the pilot Wierzbicki flew for the Luftwaffe and if he was able to survive the war.
