MARSCHBEFEHL

(MARCH ORDER, ISSUED IN LITZMANNSTADT)

This lot consists of two documents, both issued on May 23, 1942 in Litzmannstadt, well known for the Ghetto Litzmannstadt, the second-largest ghetto (after the Warsaw Ghetto) established for Jews and Roma in German-occupied Poland. Document 1 is the march order for the Gefreite (Private) Oswald Guddat. He was sent by the Gen.-Kp.Inf.Ers.Batl.323 to the Stellv.Gen.Kdo.III.A.K.Abt.1c in Berlin. He had to report at barrack #14 to either recieve or help giving some kind of training. All authorities on the way were asked to assist him and/or give him protection and aid if needed. The second order tells what Gefr. Oswald Gudda was supposed to to when the training was over: he had to report at the Stellv.Gen.Kdo. III.A.K., Abt. 1c, exactly between 5.00pm June 5, 1942 and 9.00am June 6, 1942 to receive further instruction where he would go from there.
