Offered here is a very nice example of a German WWII flashlight, made by the well known Daimon company. The flashlight has three color filters (red, blue and green) with slide controls on the front plus a rare feature which is only found on flashlights that were used by the Feldgendarmerie (Military Police or Kettenhunde): a small slot at the bottom of the flashlight which came in handy when the German MP guy controlled papers (Soldbuch, Ausweis, etc.) at night. This is not found on very many German flashlights of that period (see photo at the bottom left)! This item will make a nice addition for anyones collection of Wehrmacht and Third Reich memorabilia and will look great on a German Military Police uniform.

As can be seen on the pictures above and below, the back and the inside are in very good condition and the two original leather strips (used to hook the flashlight to the uniform) are smooth and undamaged. The light bulb is missing but it should be easy to find a replacement.
