ONE OF THE RAREST ANTI-JEWISH NAZI BOOKS FOR CHILDREN

TRAU KEINEM FUCHS AUF GRUENER HEID UND KEINEM JUD BEI SEINEM EID

(Trust No Fox on the green heath And No Jew on his Oath)

PUBLISHED 1936 BY JULIUS STREICHERS STÜRMERVERLAG IN NÜRNBERG AN EXTREMELY RARE ITEM OF HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE IN NEARLY AS NEW CONDITION

The book is in very good to excellent condition, no damage to any of the pages, all full color pictures are awesome in their color and also the outside is nearly perfect, just a couple very tiny scratches. This book and the two other anti-Semitic books for children that were published by Julius Streichers Stürmerverlag in Nürnberg were regarded as such dangerous material that the Allies destroyed every copy they could find.

The extremely anti-Semitic text, written in Sütterlin - the old style German handwriting, was written by Elwira Bauer, an 18 year old art student and Kindergarten teacher, the illustrations are by Philip Rupprecht, better known as the Stürmer cartoonist FIPS.

The titles of the other two Stürmer kids books were "Der Giftpilz" (the Toadstool or Poisonous Mushroom) and "Der Pudelmopsdackelpinscher" (an arrangement of dog names). Each of the three books aimed at a certain age group of children. All three books contain short stories for children, each story with an illustration, how to recognize a Jew, his criminal and mean nature and so on. This book contains a full page / full color picture and the explaining text on the facing page.

The size of the hard cover book is 10 x 8 inch, considering that it was a book for kids that was published 70+ years ago it is in very good condition. The binding is tight, none of the pages has been separated or are otherwise damaged and the colors of the illustrations are as bright as if the book was printed yesterday and not 70+ years ago!
