Offered here is a very nice example of an original Nazi Radio.
Reichsminister of Propaganda Dr. Joseph Goebbels had the great idea to create affordable radios and sell them cheap to every household in the German Reich to make it possible that Adolf Hitlers voice (or whoever from his high rank NSDAP comrades had something to say) was heard in the living room of every good "Volksgenosse"! The radio still has the nice Nazi State Eagle on the front. Because of these Third Reich symbols these radios were no longer tolerated from the Allies who ruled Germany after World War II had ended and these neat little radios were destroyed where ever they showed up. Very few examples in good condition have survived the De-Nazification wave in postwar Germany! Here is your chance now to add a nice display item one to your collection! The bakelite housing of this radio in very good condition WITH NO CRACKS AND ONLY VERY FEW MINOR SCRATCHES. The original cord is still attached to this "KLEINEMPFÄNGER" / "VOLKSEMPFÄNGER" (Peoples Radio) WE DID NOT CHECK THE FUNCTIONAssuming all parts are still there and operational, there is an easy way to convert this radio to 110V. If this Nazi radio will play you won't be able to receive any of the old German Reichsrundfunk stations like Leipzig, Deutschlandsender or Radio Königsberg but maybe your local radio station! Wouldn't that be cool?! |
