This very interesting 9 x 12 inch, 314-pages hardcover book in excellent con-dition was written by Roland Schoenfelder, chief editor of the Nazi Police perio-dical "Der Deutsche Polizeibeamte". It was published 1937 by Verlag Breit-kopf und Hartel in Leipzig. It contains 200 black and white illustrations plus four full page color tables with different German Police uniforms throughout the centuries.

A scarce reference book for anyone who wants to know more about the origins and history of the Police in the German Reich!

The book was a gift to a represantative of the city of Wanfried, factory owner Arthur Kalkau, given to him by the Mayor of the city on September 8, 1943. It is signed by the Mayor next to the official seal of the city.
