The 7 x 9-1/2 inches hardcover book with 186 pages was published by order of the Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine (High Command of the Reich Navy) and printed 1940 from the Verlag Breitkopf and Haertel in Leipzig. The 1940 volume is the 5th volume which had been published, it is full of information on everything pertaining the German Heer, new equipment, vehicles, strategies, lots of war photographs and much more! The Foreword is from the Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine (Commander of the Navy), Grossadmiral Dr. h.c. Raeder. A very interesting original Third Reich photo book on the German Infantry in very good condition! The rare original dust cover is also undamaged.
