RARE EXCELLENT 1940 THIRD REICH PHOTO YEARBOOK FROM THE GERMAN WEHRMACHT HEER (INFANTRY/PANZER) JAHRBUCH DEs deutschen heeres 1940 THE OFFICIAL YEARLY REPORT WITH LOTS OF PHOTOS COMES WITH THE HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL DUST JACKET! The 7 x 9-1/2 inches hardcover book with 186 pages was published by order of the Oberkommando des Heeres (High Command of the Infantry) and printed 1940 from the Verlag Breitkopf and Haertel in Leipzig. The 1940 volume is the 5th volume which had been published, it is full of information on everything pertaining the German Heer, new equipment, vehicles, strategies, lots of war photographs and much more! The Foreword is from the Oberbefehlshaber des Heeres (Commander of the Infantry), Generaloberst von Brauchitsch. A very interesting original Third Reich photo book on the German Infantry in very good condition! The rare original dust cover is also undamaged.
