RARE ORIGINAL 1944
TRANSPORT DOCUMENT OF A POLITICAL INMATE
WHO WAS SENT TO THE
KONZENTRATIONSLAGER BUCHENWALD
(CONCENTRATION CAMP BUCHENWALD)
WITH SPECIAL TREATMENT ORDER, SIGNED FROM AN
SS-SCHARFÜHRER!
A rare late war documenet from one of the most infamous concentration camps on German soil, Buchenwald. The 26 years old Oscar Merten was sent to Buchenwald on 23 November 1944 as a political prisoner. The document says that he is not allowed to send or receive mail and he is registered under the status "NN". We don't know what exactly that means but it is underlined in red from the SS-SCHARFÜHRER who signed the document with the same pencil and we assume it was some special treatment. Oscar Merten was assigned the inmate number 46778.
