Offered for sale is a
RARE ORIGINAL OFFICIAL NAZI PARTY FUNERAL SASH THE LAST FAREWELL OF THE GAU CAPITAL SCHWERIN TO A PASSED AWAY "PARTEIGENOSSE" (PARTY COMRADE)! The sash is made out of silk and is in very good condition. It is 45 inches long and 5-1/2 inches wide. It once was the decoration of a wreath the Gau leadership (Gauleitung) in Schwerin, capital of the Gau (Nazi district) Mecklenburg sent to the funeral of a Nazi party comrade. The individual that passed away must have been a good NSDAP member, perhaps of higher rank, otherwise the political representatives of the Gau capital would have not sent their condolences. Grave decorations are usually taken off and discarded after a few weeks, so few of these Nazi era sashes will have survived!
